Whilst we would all love our children to be free from germs and illness; we also want them to spend time and have fun with other children.
Spending time in group settings such as baby and toddler groups, playgroups, nurseries and schools is often the first time that many children are exposed to the myriad of childhood illnesses and infections. Whilst good personal hygiene (using tissues to catch coughs and sneezes and washing hands properly) can help, children are still learning these skills and can often appear to catch every cough and cold going!
