Little Explorers Preschool has been running preschool and toddler stay & play sessions from Prestbury Pavilion for over thirty years with thanks and continued support of Prestbury Parish Council.
We are a community based; not-for-profit preschool which means we are managed by a voluntary management committee. This is usually made up of parents whose children attend the group. We employ a fully qualified staff team most of whom are parents themselves.
Little Explorers is a member of the Gloucestershire PATA (Parent and Toddler Association).

OUR TEAM
Staff Team:
- Becky – Setting Manager from October 2021, BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies
- Margaret – Deputy Manager working at Little Explorers since 2008, Level 3 certificate in Childcare and Education
- Leah – Key Worker joined Little Explorers in November 2020, Level 2 certificate in Children & Young Peoples Workforce
- Danea – Key Worker joined us in January 2021, NVQ Level 3
- Jolie – Key Worker, Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
- Emma – Business and Financial Administrator
Our Special Educational Needs Coordinators are Becky and Margaret. Designated Safeguarding Lead is Becky and Margaret is the Deputy Lead.
All our staff have undertaken paediatric First Aid and have up to date child protection training.
